ABOUT US
Do you need help to research the history of a place or family? Have you got a historic document you can't read? We can help.
We are two qualified archivists who have over twenty years combined experience of working in Archives, predominantly at our local Gloucestershire Office. The previous work we have undertaken ranges from analysis of documents relating to sites of archaeological interest, to the history of houses and other buildings, to local history and to genealogy. We have also provided transcriptions of documents in Latin and English and palaeography advice.
Rebecca qualified in 2004, and has worked as both an archivist and records manager in a number of institutions including: Gloucestershire Archives, St Edmund Hall in Oxford, the Diocese of Gloucester and Gloucester Cathedral. She is currently archivist for Gloucester Cathedral, and also responsible for the historic Library. Helen qualified in 2011 and has worked at Gloucestershire Archives assisting the public with their enquiries, cataloguing and writing and leading workshops and tours for more than ten years whilst studying for her Masters. She now works full-time for the business, and is the archivist to the Bingham Library Trust.
